Manchester's Best Spots To Buy Antiques & Vintage Homeware

We’ve had a few projects recently which have involved sourcing antique and vintage furniture items for our clients’ homes. In the process we came across a few little gems around Manchester, which are definitely worth a visit..!

Failsworth Antiques Quarter

This is where I head when there are a few items on my list! All on one road you’ll find three buildings crammed with furniture, vintage objects, and memorabilia. The largest, Old Mill Antiques, is generally my first port of call for Chesterfields, Georgian side boards and Queen Anne dining sets.

Levenshulme Antiques Village

My go to for restored fire surrounds, whether you’re looking for marble or cast iron, you’re sure to find it here! One of the nine businesses located in the old town hall also has an impressive selection of mid century furniture, from side boards to wardrobes.

Insitu Manchester

Located just outside the city centre, in a grade II listed Victorian pub, Insitu is the place to go for architectural salvage. They specialise in reclaimed timber flooring, cast iron radiators and stained glass.
